Penang!
hi all!
you know, since our o level days we've been thinking of travelling overseas together?
recently i've been thinking of it alot.
and i talked to kenneth about it and we have just decided to go penang.
but what is travelling when u don't have the best of company (that's YOU) around?
we are thinking of going to Penang on a 3-5 days holiday (depending on our budget and ability to take leave) filled with beach activities - think jet skiing, para-sailing and many other activities!
coupled with the beautiful au natural beach, losing calories would be fun and effortless!
AND all these activities are either NOT available in Singapore or waaaay overpriced.
Besides, NOW is the springtime of youth for water sports. Seize the day!
i know leney is abit on the hydrophobic side, but dun fret, there's always other non water related beach activities like volley :D
Also, Penang is known for the great food - like their laksa and ba kut teh.
but u see, there'll be no guilty feeling after eating these delicious worthy food because! u know u'll working it all out with the beach activities and u deserve that nice treat~
needless to say, shopping would be great too, given that everything is generally more affordable.
transport there would be a very convenient Grassland coach bus - yes, the one with nice cushy seats promoted by moses lim, kim ng, and christopher lee.
80 sgd for round trip.
- there's no budget airline flying from sg to penang-
Excited about a getaway from the overcrowded and all too familiar boring singapore?
contact ebi on the 29th when we meet up.
the tentative dates for this amazing holiday for the budget conscious is from 19th-23rd dec.
hurhur. ok.i know, this came quite suddenly, quite without consultation with you guys.
seriously, i hope u guys consider this and go for it. :)
since we all have been planning on a trip like since o levels ended anyways. and besides, leney will be away for half a year! we should spend more quality time together!

no worries. i will help to get ur visa done after my exams... hopefully that'll be enough time though.
isn't december like the rainy season? lol
erps. my malaysian friend says penang is safe cos its at the extreme west coast.
the rainy northeast monsoon hits the east coast of malaysia.
but that weather is kinda weird these days.. i can't say anything definitive.
